The video section allows merchants to embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or Shopify-hosted files, enhancing their store’s storytelling, product showcases, or brand messaging.

Content options

Video URL - Allows embedding a video from YouTube or Vimeo by pasting the video link.

Video file - Enables merchants to upload a video directly to Shopify, replacing the external video URL.

Background image - Allows uploading an image poster that will be displayed before the video starts playing or when the video is unavailable.

Playback settings

Enable video autoplay - When enabled, the video automatically plays when the page loads. The video will be muted and without controls to ensure a smooth browsing experience.

Enable video looping - If enabled, the video will replay continuously after finishing.

This section is perfect for product demonstrations, brand storytelling, and promotional content, helping to create an engaging and dynamic shopping experience.
