Article card

The Article card block displays a blog article inside a card layout. It’s built from article-specific inner blocks like title, meta, excerpt, and thumbnail.

What it does

This block displays an article card with:

  • Selected article content
  • Title, meta, excerpt, and thumbnail blocks
  • Card styling options (padding, spacing, scheme)

Block settings explained

Article

  • Selects which blog article to display.

Card Style

Text alignment

  • Aligns card content (left, center, right).

Inner blocks spacing

  • Controls spacing between inner blocks.

Padding

  • Sets the card’s padding (around the card)

Add padding to media

  • Adds padding around inner media (image or video) blocks. Doesn't refer to card background media.

Remove card background

  • Removes the card's background (color and gradient), removing also the padding around the card.

Border radius

  • Controls corner rounding (only for the main card, not the inner blocks).

Color scheme

  • Selects the card color scheme.

Article card blocks

Article excerpt

  • Displays a short excerpt.
  • You can choose it's length and change the typography style of this block.

Article image

  • Display's the article image.
  • You can also choose an aspect ratio for the article image, either a fixed one (includes cropping), or a natural one (images display at the exact size they are uploaded).

Article meta

  • Display meta information, such as:
    • Published date
    • The number of comments (if comments are enabled in this specific blog)
    • Author
  • You can also change the typography style of this block.

Article tags

  • Display article tags.
  • You can choose it's length and change the typography style of this block.

Article title

  • Displays the article title (as a link to the selected article).
  • You can also change the typography style of this block and set a custom HTML tag for SEO purposes.

Blog grids

Display featured or recent articles in a structured grid layout.

Content marketing sections

Surface educational or inspirational content on product or collection pages.

Related reading

Add relevant articles at the end of blog posts or product pages.

Homepage highlights

Promote key stories, guides, or announcements on the homepage.
